Hugh holds more than 20 years of experience as an expert in the technology recruiting space, primarily focused on his clients’ needs in Product, Marketing, Operations, Design, and Strategic and Corporate Development. Prior to Foundation Hugh was working with Comcast as a recruiting consultant tasked to define and lead the recruiting strategy and execution for two of their biggest start-up businesses, the X-1 Platform and Xfinity Mobile. Prior to this he worked as a Recruiting Lead at SAP America providing technical recruiting strategy and execution across their Public Services consulting practice. Hugh spent the early years of his career serving as a manager and recruiting consultant for major employers such as IBM, Lucent Technologies, NCR and International Network Services. Hugh brings a great deal of passion, intuition and business know-how in helping his clients to identify critical talent while ensuring operational excellence, partnership, and efficiencies are met in the ever evolving and fiercely competitive technology landscape.

Before joining Foundation, JC was a lead senior recruiter at salesforce.com, helping double the size of their Chief Marketing Officer organization within two years. Prior to salesforce.com, JC was a managing partner of VonChurch, the world’s largest digital technology talent hub where he launched and led their Create division. JC started his career in architecture, where he designed buildings in Edinburgh, Hamburg and Cincinnati, and helped reshape the skyline of San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood with the Foundry Square project. JC is originally from Reading, Pa. and has lived in Germany and Spain. He currently resides in the Bay Area with his wife, Andrea, and children Owen and Lilly.

Before becoming a partner and leading the Finance and Human Resources practice for Foundation Talent, Jennifer was a recruiting manager for Robert Half Finance and Accounting, an international staffing firm specializing in finance and accounting functional roles. Jennifer accrued 12 years of successful full-cycle sales and recruitment experience with RHI and grew an extensive network of clients and candidates. In addition to being a leading sales producer, Jennifer successfully held multiple roles within Robert Half, including management of both administrative and accounting temporary divisions. Outside of the office, Jennifer pursues a philanthropic commitment to finding a cure for breast cancer.

Seth Funahashi hails from the Central Valley in CA and is a Senior Associate for Foundation Talent, focusing on Product, Sales and Marketing roles. Prior to joining Foundation Talent, he discovered his passion for recruiting at Premier Staffing as an Account Director in San Francisco, focusing primarily on sales roles. In addition, Seth was Director of Research & Recruitment at a biomechanics research lab called Heeluxe and physical therapy aide.

Based in the London office, Talia helps to build out Foundation Talent’s Recruitment Acceleration Program (RAP) across EMEA, with a deep understanding of the hiring community and HR challenges, while maintaining a sense of urgency and pace. Talia has over 10 years of experience from search agency, RPO and in-house environments. She began her career in the City of London Banking industry and moved into Software and Infrastructure in 2009. For the past 7 years, Talia has worked with some of the world’s largest vendors including EMC, IBM, CA Technologies and Juniper Networks. Most recently, Talia has led an Executive Search team of 12 within a world leading RPO business. Talia’s experience spans tech projects successfully completed to SVP level across all global regions. Talia, a dual US/UK citizen, has a B.A. in Music. She retired from her short career as a Wedding Singer, but remains a huge music enthusiast. Talia is the owner of two crazy dogs, a proud mother of one crazy toddler and wife of a very patient husband.

Sam joins us from working for various stage startups over the last 4 years in San Francisco. Most recently, he was heading up Talent Acquisition for a video advertising company that grew from 23 to 88 in 13 months. Prior to that, he headed up sales recruiting for a digital marketing SaaS company and spent a few years selling software as well. As his career has progressed, he has found himself back on the recruiting track (5 years previous agency experience) and could not be more excited to be joining such a strong and character-driven organization.

Ryan Lupo is a Principal in the New York office. Prior to Foundation, Ryan oversaw all the sales recruiting for healthcare technology company, Zocdoc, leading teams in both New York City and Phoenix offices. Over his tenure, the company grew from 100 to over 700 employees at its peak. Ryan also previously worked for a boutique technology recruiting firm, Connections of New York.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts from Williams College in Massachusetts, Ryan moved to New York City, where he still resides with his fiance. Ryan loves a good meal, a nice beer, Bruce Springsteen, and attending Soul Cycle classes.

Dickon launched Foundation in EMEA in 2014, and is responsible for building the organisation in London and across Europe. He brings with him multi level experience of building in house and agency recruitment teams over two decades, servicing high growth technology companies across the region. He has managed some of the largest ever volume multi-site recruitment campaigns in Europe on behalf of a series of Fortune 500 and FTSE companies, and takes much pride in having helped build a series of companies from the ground up. Dickon has a BA (Hons) in Humanities from Greenwich University, where he also gained a Diploma in Business Studies.

Before becoming a partner at Foundation, Gary was executive vice president at Site Development, Inc. He was responsible for the new market expansion of several large retail clients in the Eastern U.S., where he successfully negotiated transactions in excess of $250M. Prior to SDI, Gary was a co-founder and director at Ez2get.com, the nation’s first web-based, rapid satisfaction and fulfillment-company; providing 1-hour delivery of retail goods to residential and business clients. Based in San Francisco, Gary led all activities in the Western U.S., including expansion into 10 new markets and the acquisition of several competitors. Gary was also a member of the leadership group that secured $42M in private placement funding.

Barbara graduated from Dublin City University Business School with a degree in Business Studies, specializing in Human Resource Management.
